| There are three main types of meter used for natural gas and LPG. These are diaphragm, turbine and rotary positive displacement. Pressure and temperature correction is available as an option when required. Sizing is of great importance to ensure the pressure drop through the meter is as low as possible. Pressure loss charts are available on request or the sales office will calculate them for you.
Functions
Diaphragm gas meters are available in sizes 20mm Qn4 to 50mm Qn40. Larger sizes can be supplied, but cost and physical size make them an unattractive selection.
Turbine meters are available in sizes 40mm to 100mm in the competitive EQZ range. Each size may have a selection of flow measuring elements to suit varying conditions. A pulsed out is standard. Please refer to the data sheet for specifics. The EA range supplies larger sizes up to 500mm.
